About Me

I was fortunate enough to grow up with one adventurous parent and the other who appreciated a little luxury. By the time I graduated high school, I’d visited tiny towns in Scotland and Germany and saw the local lifestyle, lived like a cowboy at a dude ranch in Colorado, and experienced a little extravagance in the Caribbean and Hawai’i.

Since then, I've traveled through the US, a great portion of Europe, spent a summer living in Ireland, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and hiked through the Andes to Machu Picchu in Peru.

I have a typical 9-5 job, so I try to go on adventures whenever I can. I'm always planning fantasy trips for the fun of it, which just fuels my wanderlust. So here’s hoping that dreams do come true and more travels will be taken!
Fun Facts
Home base: NYC
Best travel experience: Getting lost in Venice and having to follow the shaky instructions of a local who barely spoke English to get back to my hotel. Getting lost is a great way to explore!
Worst travel mishap: Realizing on the morning of my flight to Portugal that my passport had expired! Turns out, it was just a blonde moment and it wasn’t really expired. I was reading the dates wrong. (Yes, I am a real blonde.)
Favorite stamp in my passport: My visa for Tanzania. Definitely.

Nerd Alert: I can name and locate all 197 countries of the world (though that number varies depending on the source), including their capitals. I can also identify all of their flags.
Dream destination: I have such an itch to take a few months to explore southeast Asia and Oceania.
Favorite travel site: Kayak. I’m constantly playing around with flights to see where I could pop over to for a weekend getaway.
